The earliest recordings made by the Phonogram Archives of the University of Zurich date back to 1909, when a phonograph from Vienna was used for both teaching and research purposes by Prof. Dr. Albert Bachmann. Since then the holdings of the Archive have continously grown and you can get a good overview of the Archives' holdings in our catalogue (available in German only at the moment).
