Description

The Walser language and its regional and local dialects are seriously endangered and have already disappeared in some places. The recordings were made in Chur in 1926 on behalf of the University of Zurich, and the sound quality does not meet today's listening standards. Nevertheless, they still fulfil their original purpose of preserving the languages and dialects of Switzerland for future generations.

The publication consists of a CD with 20 recordings and an accompanying booklet with transcriptions.
